🤦♀️ the crowd was one of the most overstimulating things ive ever experienced. everyone was packed in this tiny room with no idea if their order was ready or when/where to pick it up. my order was 30 min late after already waiting for 45 min and getting the attention of the baristas is im possible
🚗 parking can be a bit of a struggle because of SF streets
✏️ regardless of the horrible waiting experience, this matcha gets such a high rating because it is really good. the matcha is super rich and they fully use marukyu koyamen and you can tell. it is insanely delicious.

✏️ highkey the first one i had was clement street and that one slapped so hard. the other location has tables and is still pretty good but there is nothing like that tiny clement street shack the size of a bathroom. it is good matcha though and i come back almost every time i go to sf.

✏️ pretty solid matcha and sandwich experience. the matcha wasn’t mindblowing but it was there and not bad at all. i liked the vibes and how cutesy it was and they were also really sweet to me over dms which i appreciated. super cute!

✏️ strangely this is one of those places where i liked the hojicha more than the matcha when i went. i split both with my mom and gravitated really towards the hojicha. both were good though but i think i prefer the new palo alto location better.

✏️ matcha was decent and pretty strong. conveniently it’s super close to dolores park which is why i went. the vibes were good and they had so many options to pick from. i’d love to try either the ube matcha or black sesame latte if i come back!
